Job summary

Migros Ticaret is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics & Insight Team. The team focuses on deriving actionable insights from shopping behavior and customer journey datasets of approximately 14.5 million loyal customers, influencing marketing and sales strategies.

Applicants should have a quantitative degree and at least five years in customer data analytics within retail, with strong SQL and Python skills and English proficiency. Agile knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Statistics, MIS, or related field.
• Min. 5 years of professional experience in customer data analytics, preferably within retail.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python and experience in retail metrics, customer behavior, segmentation and personalization analytics.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, data-driven decision making, and effectively presenting complex data outputs to business stakeholders.
• Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Agile methodology and Kanban knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with business units to understand business objectives and data-related requirements, and translate them into actionable insights and data-driven solutions.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to summarize findings and extract key insights.
• Support business units through data analysis and reporting to help achieve optimal business outcomes.
• Conduct analyses on customer behavior and segmentation, campaign performance, sales performance, and CRM and personalization performance to assess their impact on customer and business outcomes.
• Apply statistical analysis and data analytics methods to identify hidden patterns and relationships in data and address business questions.
• Follow developments and trends in data science to maintain professional proficiency.
