Job summary

Sigortam.net is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to partner with product and business teams to analyze customer behavior, funnels, and key metrics on large-scale data. You will turn data into actionable insights that drive growth and support data-driven decision-making.

As a senior member of the Data Squad, you will set analytical standards, mentor junior analysts, and help raise the analytics bar across the organization, with an emphasis on AI-enabled analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• 4+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or related data-focused role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python for data analysis.
• Hands-on experience managing and optimizing datamart structures and data pipelines (e.g., Airflow).
• Familiarity with Power BI and Metabase, or similar libraries/tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product and business teams to analyze customer behavior, lead journeys, and funnel performance on large-scale data.
• Lead structured analyses — funnel conversion & drop-off, cohort retention & churn, A/B testing, acquisition channel performance, and segmentation.
• Own the definition, tracking, and interpretation of key business and product metrics.
• Build and maintain analysis-focused datamarts and the pipelines that feed them (e.g., Airflow).
• Translate ambiguous business questions into clear analytical tasks and turn findings into actionable narratives.
• Leverage AI and LLM-based tools to accelerate analysis, automate recurring reporting, and scale impact.
• Act as a technical reference for the analytics team — reviewing work, sharing best practices, and mentoring junior analysts.

As a senior member of the team, you will also set analytical standards, own key metric definitions, and help raise the analytical bar for the wider organization.

Your role:

• Partner with product and business teams to analyze customer behavior, lead journeys, and funnel performance on large-scale data.
• Lead structured analyses — funnel conversion & drop-off, cohort retention & churn, A/B testing, acquisition channel performance, and segmentation — to surface growth and improvement opportunities.
• Own the definition, tracking, and interpretation of key business and product metrics, and drive consistent usage across teams.
• Build and maintain analysis-focused datamarts and the pipelines that feed them (e.g., Airflow), with a strong focus on data integrity, performance, and scalability.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into clear analytical tasks, and turn findings into narratives that inform prioritization and decisions.
• Leverage AI and LLM-based tools to accelerate analysis, automate recurring reporting, and scale your impact across the team.
• Act as a technical reference for the analytics team — reviewing others' work, sharing best practices, and mentoring more junior analysts.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related).
• 4+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a similar data-focused role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with large-scale datasets.
• Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and exploration (e.g., pandas, numpy).
• Hands-on experience managing and optimizing datamart structures and orchestrating data pipelines (e.g., Airflow), with a focus on data integrity, performance, and scalability.
• Solid command of cohort analysis, CLTV/LTV, funnel analysis, segmentation, and performance analysis.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Metabase, or libraries like matplotlib, seaborn, or plotly.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into structured analyses.
• Ability to extract insights from data and craft clear, compelling narratives that resonate with business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Git and experience working in agile environments.
• Open-minded and curious about new technologies, with a genuine interest in applying AI and LLMs to everyday analytical work.
