Job summary

Sigortam.net, Turkey's leading insurance marketplace, seeks a Senior Data Analyst to partner with product and business teams to analyze customer behavior, lead journeys, and funnel performance on large-scale data. You will define and own core metrics, build datamarts and Airflow pipelines, and translate questions into actionable insights.

You will mentor junior analysts and apply AI/LLM tools to accelerate reporting and storytelling, driving data-driven growth across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• 4+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or a similar data-focused role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with large-scale datasets.
• Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and exploration (pandas, numpy).
• Hands-on experience managing and optimizing datamart structures and orchestrating data pipelines (Airflow).
• Solid command of cohort analysis, CLTV/LTV, funnel analysis, segmentation, and performance analysis.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Metabase, or libraries like matplotlib, seaborn, or plotly.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to translate business needs into structured analyses.
• Familiarity with Git and experience working in agile environments.
• Open-minded and curious about AI/LLMs in analytical work.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product and business teams to analyze customer behavior, lead journeys, and funnel performance on large-scale data.
• Lead structured analyses — funnel conversion & drop-off, cohort retention & churn, A/B testing, acquisition channel performance, and segmentation — to surface growth opportunities.
• Own the definition, tracking, and interpretation of key business and product metrics across teams.
• Build and maintain analysis-focused datamarts and the pipelines that feed them (e.g., Airflow), focusing on data integrity and scalability.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into clear analytical tasks and turn findings into narratives for prioritization.
• Leverage AI and LLM-based tools to accelerate analysis, automate recurring reporting, and scale impact.
• Act as a technical reference for the analytics team — review work, share best practices, mentor junior analysts.

In this role, you will partner with product and business teams to analyze customer behavior, lead journeys, and key business metrics on large-scale data. Using approaches such as cohort retention, CLTV, and funnel analysis, you will turn data into actionable insights that drive growth and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. As a senior member of the team, you will also set analytical standards, own key metric definitions, and help raise the analytical bar for the wider organization.

The Data Squad at Sigortam.net is responsible for shaping and executing the company's data, analytics, and AI strategy. Your role:

• Partner with product and business teams to analyze customer behavior, lead journeys, and funnel performance on large-scale data.
• Lead structured analyses — funnel conversion & drop-off, cohort retention & churn, A/B testing, acquisition channel performance, and segmentation — to surface growth and improvement opportunities.
• Own the definition, tracking, and interpretation of key business and product metrics, and drive consistent usage across teams.
• Build and maintain analysis-focused datamarts and the pipelines that feed them (e.g., Airflow), with a strong focus on data integrity, performance, and scalability.

Your profile:
