Job summary

Jotform seeks a Senior Data Analyst in Ankara, based at the ODTU Teknokent campus, to turn data into actionable insights that support product decisions and business growth. You’ll collaborate with product management, growth, and engineering, design and evaluate experiments (A/B tests), develop dashboards, and present findings clearly in English to stakeholders.

A quantitative degree and at least five years of analytics experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Math, Economics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or related quantitative field.
• Strong knowledge in SQL and data extraction from structured and unstructured data.
• Excellent communication of quantitative insights in English.

Responsibilities

• Work with product management and product teams to extract, interpret and present insights from data to support decisions.
• Enable visibility into historical data and identify root causes of change.
• Design A/B tests, interpret results and present findings to support business decisions.
• Create, implement and improve statistical algorithms to generate forecasts and predictive recommendations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Jotform is seeking Senior Data Analysts in our Ankara office, located at a relaxed fun environment in ODTU Teknokent. As a rapidly growing company we are hiring for similar positions continuously and once an opportunity matches with your qualifications, we will contact you immediately.

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Work with product management and product teams, extract, interpret and present insights from data to support their decisions


• Enable visibility into historical data and provide the ability to identify the root causes of change


• Design A/B test, interpret and present the findings to support business decisions


• Assist development teams with reports and metrics that will present actionable insights


• Create, implement and improve statistical algorithms to help generate forecasts and predictive recommendations


• Create insightful data visualizations and turn statistical and computational analysis into user-friendly graphs, charts and animations


• Collaborate with Growth Team to develop tools and services such as modeling dashboard to drive innovation and recommend solutions

Education & Work Experience & Technical Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Math, Economics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or related quantitative field


• At least 5 years of experience in quantitative analytics or data modeling


• Strong Knowledge in SQL


• Ability to extract, interpret and present insights from unstructured and structured data


• Understanding of relevant statistical measures such as confidence intervals, significance of error measurements, development and evaluation data sets


• Track record of diving into data to discover hidden patterns


• Experience in sales analytics, client retention analytics and customer analytics are highly preferred


• Prior internships or experience in statistics and data mining is a plus


• Excellent communications and presentation skills in English
