Job summary

Ceffu is seeking an experienced Compliance and Risk Officer in Istanbul to ensure full compliance with AML/CFT regulations and MASAK guidance, while overseeing an enterprise-wide risk management framework across operational, financial, compliance, strategic, and IT risks.

The role requires coordinating with MASAK, the Central Bank of Turkey, and other authorities; leading CDD, transaction monitoring, STR reporting, and training programs; and reporting risk findings to the executive board.

Qualifications

• Must have MASAK compliance expertise and Turkish AML legislation understanding.
• Experience in suspicious transaction monitoring and regulatory filings.
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks (ISO 31000, COSO).
• Fluency in Turkish and English.

Responsibilities

• Act as MASAK Compliance Officer for the company under Turkish AML/CFT legislation.
• Maintain a direct reporting line to the Executive Board or to its designated member(s).
• Oversee the AML/CFT compliance program including customer due diligence (CDD), transaction monitoring, and suspicious transaction reporting (STR).
• Monitor compliance with MASAK regulations relevant to CASP operations in Turkey.
• Develop and maintain a robust risk management framework aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• File STRs with MASAK and coordinate responses to information requests.
• Lead compliance training programs for staff and maintain audit-ready records.
• Liaise with MASAK, Central Bank of Turkey, and other authorities on AML/CFT obligations.
• Identify and assess risks across operational, financial, regulatory, IT, and strategic domains.
• Develop and implement risk assessment tools tailored to crypto-asset context.
• Monitor risk exposures and identify trends or emerging issues.
• Collaborate across Compliance, IT Security, Internal Audit, Operations to ensure controls.
• Determine risk mitigation strategies and coordinate implementation.
• Prepare and present regular risk reports to senior management and regulators.
