Job summary

ASC Law is seeking a senior associate to join its Banking & Finance Team, taking an active role in leading and managing high-profile financing and infrastructure transactions. The candidate will drive structuring, drafting, negotiation, and closing with minimal supervision.

Ideal applicants will have a minimum of five years' experience, strong English proficiency, and a proven track record in banking and finance, including project finance. A collaborative, proactive mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• LL.B. degree from a reputable university; an LL.M. degree is an advantage but not required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a lawyer in the relevant practice area at a reputable law firm.
• Experience in banking and finance transactions, including project finance, restructuring/refinancing, acquisition finance, and corporate loans.
• Advanced English fluency and excellent command of legal and academic English (TOEFL or IELTS scores are preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Self-motivated, diligent, and a collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-profile banking, project finance, and infrastructure transactions from structuring to closing.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including finance and restructuring agreements.
• Mentor junior associates and coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
