Job summary

ACWA Power is seeking a senior accounting leader to oversee general accounting, tax, and reporting across our operations. You will ensure compliance with Turkish regulations, drive ERP optimization in SAP/Oracle, and lead a team to deliver accurate monthly and annual results.

The role requires extensive experience in project and construction accounting, strong analytics, and fluency in English, with exposure to multinational reporting and intercompany activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• CPA/SMMM qualification preferred.
• Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting, tax, and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with SAP/Oracle ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Turkish tax regulations (VUK, corporate tax).
• Experience in project accounting, construction accounting, and long-term contracts.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and stakeholder management.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable in line with Turkish requirements.
• Update and maintain accounting plans and ERP processes in SAP/Oracle.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of accounting documents and filing.
• Manage accounting team and allocate resources to projects, including construction accounting.
• Coordinate tax activities with auditors and legal/commercial teams.
• Support group reporting deadlines and monthly reporting including foreign currency aspects.
