Job summary

Kalyon Construction Headquarters is seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. You will record accounting transactions in SAP, manage E-Invoice and E-Archive portals, and perform account reconciliations for the group and external partners.

You will also assist in tax declarations, cash transactions, and monthly/annual closings. Fluent Turkish and strong numerical skills are essential, with experience in large corporate settings preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Preferably 2 years in large-scale corporate organizations.
• Proficient in SAP and able to use it effectively.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish tax legislation, accounting regulations, and the Uniform Chart of Accounts.
• Experience with E-Invoice and E-Archive applications.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferably proficient in English.
• No restrictions on domestic or international travel.
• Preferably residing on the Anatolian side of Istanbul.
• For male candidates, military service must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Recording accounting transactions in SAP in compliance with the Uniform Chart of Accounts and tax regulations.
• Monitoring E-Invoice and E-Archive invoices through the relevant portals, handling acceptance/rejection within deadlines, and creating SAP entries after approval.
• Conducting account reconciliations with group companies and external customers/suppliers.
• Assisting in the preparation of tax declarations in accordance with applicable legislation.
• Recording cash transactions and employee advances for headquarters and branches.
• Supporting monthly and annual closing processes, including depreciation, valuation, accruals, and trial balance controls.
• Assisting in VAT refund processes.
• Recording and accounting for import and export transactions.
