Job summary

TMF Group in Turkey is seeking an Accounting & Tax Assistant to support our portfolio of clients with efficient, compliant accounting and payroll processing under local Turkish GAAP. You will collaborate with cross‑border teams, prepare tax returns, and help maintain reconciliations and timely financial reporting while adhering to TMF procedures and standards.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics (English curriculum is a plus).
• Minimum 1.5 years direct exposure to Turkish GAAP.
• Good knowledge of Turkish Tax and Accounting requirements.
• SMMM qualification or equivalent is an asset.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Payroll knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Performing daily accounting transactions of clients.
• Performing intercompany reconciliation and ensure compliance with group GAAP requirements.
• Maintaining reconciliations with related and third parties.
• Preparing Tax Returns and Other Compliance Requirements.
• Preparing payrolls for clients’ employees.
• Coordination and communication with shared service centers and clients’ tax teams resident abroad.
• Coordination and communication with clients’ tax offices.
