Job summary

Responsibilities

• Ensure accounting records comply with Turkish tax legislation and IFRS.
• Monitor and control expense, investment, purchasing, and sales accounts.
• Monitor inventory and fixed asset accounts; oversee stocktaking activities.
• Manage inventory, import, and cost accounting processes.
• Lead accounting, control, and reporting of fixed assets.

Job Description

• Ensure that accounting records are maintained in compliance with Turkish tax legislation and IFRS,
• Monitor and control expense, investment, purchasing, and sales accounts,
• Monitor inventory and fixed asset accounts, and organize and oversee interim and year-end stocktaking activities,
• Monitor and control inventory, import, and cost accounting processes,
• Manage the accounting, control, and reporting of fixed assets,
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and month-end controls,
• Record and reconcile bank transactions and prepare weekly payment plans,
• Prepare tax returns and declarations,
• Perform month-end closing activities,
• Lead projects aimed at supporting and improving the financial control system.
