Job summary

NRF is seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist to build and scale its Turkish accounting operations. In this role you will ensure accurate financial records, regulatory compliance, and efficient coordination with NRF’s international headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of accounting or senior financial experience.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish accounting, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Experience setting up or structuring accounting processes.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain Turkish accounting and administrative processes per regulations and NRF standards.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and proper documentation under local laws.
• Manage statutory compliance, including tax filings and regulatory reporting.
• Monitor deadlines for tax, legal, and admin obligations to ensure timely submissions.
• Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, accounting providers, legal advisors, and banks.
• Coordinate financial activities between Turkish entity and NRF HQ.
• Support month-end and year-end closings with international teams.
• Prepare contracts, official docs, and admin reports.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide financial insights to support local operations and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and digitalization.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO AS A SENIOR ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST?

• Set up and maintain accounting and administrative processes in line with Turkish regulations and NRF standards

WHAT YOU WILL BRING AS A SENIOR ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5–10 years of experience in accounting or a senior administrative/financial role
• Strong knowledge of Turkish accounting, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
• Experience setting up or structuring accounting processes is a strong advantage
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a growing business
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in an international context
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics or similar) is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
