Job summary

ING Hubs Türkiye is seeking a highly experienced Blockchain Backend Security Engineer to design and scale secure custody and wallet management for digital assets. You will integrate with blockchain SaaS platforms, implement enterprise-grade security controls, and collaborate across ING locations.

The role emphasizes secure key lifecycle management, MPC custody considerations, and API/microservice development in a hybrid work setting with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fluent English communication skills (C1 level or above).
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java (Java 17+).
• Experience with Spring Boot and microservice architectures, RESTful APIs, and container tech (Docker/Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java-based backend services supporting digital asset operations.
• Build APIs and microservices for wallet administration, asset transfers, transaction signing and custody workflows.
• Develop integration components with blockchain SaaS vendors and custody providers.
• Ensure high availability, scalability and resilience of critical digital asset services.
• Implement secure key management processes and integrate with HSMs and vault solutions.
