Job summary

Picus Security Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer focused on Windows/.NET, with exposure to AI-native development. You will design and build a Windows agent, work with Go and PostgreSQL, and interact with Windows internals like services, registry, and permissions.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional software development experience, focused on C# and .NET.
Solid understanding of Windows OS: services, processes, registry, permissions.
Willingness to work outside Windows on backend/services and other platforms.
Daily use of AI coding assistants or agents and good judgment on when to rely on them.
Strong fundamentals in software design, data structures, algorithms, and networking.
Clear written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain a Windows agent in C# and .NET.
Build endpoints with Go, REST, PostgreSQL, and related tools.
Work hands-on with Windows internals: services, processes, registry, permissions.
Collaborate with AI agents and improve the AI-native framework workflows.
Own features end to end from design to monitoring and release.
Collaborate with product, UX, and fellow engineers in a self-organizing agile team.
