Job summary

Partner Company in Turkey seeks a Tech Lead/Senior Backend Engineer (Go) to own and drive backend systems in a cloud-native environment. You will design scalable, high-availability services, build Kubernetes Operators with Go, and oversee deployment, scaling, and reliability across complex microservices.

You will lead architectural decisions, guide best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure maintainable, production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in backend development, 5+ years with Go.
• Previous Tech Lead/Team Lead experience.
• Strong production experience with Kubernetes.
• Hands-on Go with Kubernetes Operators using Operator SDK.
• Strong backend architecture for RESTful services and microservices.
• Understanding of scalability, resilience, disaster recovery, containerization, and reliability.
• Experience with AWS; experience with GCP/Azure is a plus.
• Proficiency in modern server-side development with Node.js, Python, or Rust is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable backend applications with high availability.
• Design and develop Kubernetes Operators in Go and Operator SDK.
• Own backend solutions through architecture, deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
• Develop RESTful services and microservices for complex workloads.
• Define high-availability and disaster recovery strategies.
• Manage containerized environments with Kubernetes and Docker Swarm when relevant.
• Collaborate with cloud infrastructure to orchestrate resources.
• Provide technical leadership, coding standards, and guidance to the team.
• Contribute to backend architecture evolution and engineering standards.
• Investigate complex issues across app and infra layers; implement durable solutions.
• Coordinate with engineering and infrastructure to ensure reliability.
