Job summary

Qualifications

What You Will Be Doing

• Manage and Scale: You will be responsible for managing letgo’s cloud infrastructure. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Automate Everything: Follow an "Everything as Code" approach. Implement and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Collaborate: Partner with development and operations teams to streamline deployment and release processes.
• Resolve and Document: Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in a timely manner and clearly document the process to share knowledge with team members.
• Innovate: Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in DevOps principles.

You’ll Be Great For This Role If

• Experience: You have a Bachelor's degree in a related field or proven experience as a DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineer, with at least 5 years of experience.
• Cloud Expertise: You possess extensive knowledge of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, OpenSearch, and ElastiCache.
• Infrastructure as Code: You have a strong understanding of IaC principles and proficiency in Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible.
• Containerization: You have deep experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker, containerd, and Kubernetes.
• Scripting & Networking: You are proficient in scripting languages (such as Python, Shell, etc.) and have a strong understanding of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model.
• Observability: You are familiar with tracing, monitoring, and logging tools (CloudWatch, Grafana Stack).
• Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Problem-Solving: You bring excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Nice to Have

• Active AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
• Kubernetes certifications (e.g., CKA, CKAD, CKS).
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
