Job summary

bitaksi is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and maintain high-performance data pipelines powering urban mobility insights. You will work with a modern stack (Python, Spark, Kafka, Airflow) to process millions of events daily and ensure data quality, lineage, and security across platforms.

You will collaborate with Data Scientists to deliver reliable features for real-time models and optimize cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) for scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong Python/SQL and experience building robust data pipelines.
• Hands-on with ETL/ELT and data governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable, end-to-end data pipelines processing millions of events daily.
• Hands-on coding and optimization for production-grade data transformations.
• Establish and enforce data governance, lineage, quality, and security across platforms.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to provide reliable datasets for real-time ML models.
• Tune big data environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) to scale with user growth.
• Bridge business requirements to robust data schemas and analytical assets.
