Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Lead Secondary Engineer to act as the technical guarantor for design works in HV substations, ensuring adherence to budgets, deadlines and quality, while promoting easy installation, operation and maintenance of the system.

The role focuses on leading design of control, protection, electrical distribution and monitoring for HV substations, including creating single line diagrams, schematics, protection logic and interlocking, with significant collaboration across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in project & EPC environments in HV substations.
• Minimum 7 years of engineering experience in energy sector or oil and gas.
• Up to 20% travel within MEA & Europe.
• Strong verbal and written skills in English and Turkish.
• Ability to live in Ankara.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineer for HV substation control, protection and low voltage system design, ensuring reliability and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with other engineers and support project documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design and integrate, leading the team responsible for control system, protection system, electrical distribution, telecom and monitoring of a HV substation.
• Deliver diagrams and designs such as single line diagrams, schematics, protection systems, electrical consumption and auxiliary services interlocking and network coordination.
