Job summary

Jobgether partners with a company seeking an HR Data & Automation Engineer (Project Based) based in Turkey. The role focuses on cleaning, reconciling, and structuring HR data from multiple sources, and designing automated workflows for leave management using Google Forms and Sheets.

You will own the project from discovery through implementation, with documentation and auditable controls, and you will work remotely across time zones.

Qualifications

• Strong experience cleaning, reconciling, and structuring complex or inconsistent datasets from multiple sources.
• Experience with HRIS platforms, employee master data, HR data management, or related operational data environments.
• Hands-on experience with Google Workspace automation (Forms, Sheets, notifications).
• Understanding of data quality, validation, ownership, permissions, and governance.
• Experience designing access controls and audit trails for sensitive HR data.
• Ability to analyze fragmented processes and data sources and implement practical improvements.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage a fixed-scope project from assessment to implementation and documentation.
• Experience with HR system-to-system synchronization or integration.
• Experience scaling HR data structures/workflows across countries or branches.
• Ability to prepare a detailed RFQ outlining approach, deliverables, costs, risks, and assumptions.
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant HR data, automation, or governance projects.
• Willingness to sign NDA and Project Agreement and undergo a background check.

Responsibilities

• Review employee and HR data sources to identify duplicates and data-quality issues.
• Define and implement a standardized employee master-data structure with fields and validation rules.
• Aggregate, clean, reconcile, and verify historical leave records from multiple sources.
• Establish a reliable master baseline for employee and leave data.
• Design and implement a future-state leave management workflow for requests, approvals, and balances.
• Automate HR workflows using Google Workspace tools or alternatives.
• Establish ownership models, validation controls, role-based access permissions, and audit trails.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual data entry and improve accuracy.
• Document data structures, workflows, controls, and maintenance procedures for replication across branches.
• Work independently across the full fixed project scope and provide progress updates.
