Job summary

TurkNet is seeking an experienced Regulatory Data Lead to steer a cross-functional data team and deliver compliant data products in a fast‑paced telecom environment.

You will own data analysis, SQL development, and reporting pipelines while aligning regulatory requirements with product and system needs. The role combines hands-on work with technical leadership and collaboration with legal, engineering and product teams.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in CS/CE/Math or related field.
• 7+ years in data analysis and data engineering, telecom domain preferred.
• 3+ years in team leadership or mentoring.
• Strong understanding of telecom regulatory frameworks (BTK).
• Advanced SQL skills; data modelling and large-scale analysis.
• Hands-on with data pipelines, reporting systems and data quality management.
• Experience in Agile environments within cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on contributor analyzing complex datasets and building queries.
• Lead cross-functional team to design data tools and compliance solutions.
• Collaborate with leaders, architects and product managers for data products.
• Identify and drive improvements across people, processes, technology and delivery.
• Mentor team on best practices and modern data technologies.
• Design and maintain scalable data models and ensure data quality and traceability.
• Contribute to data analysis, SQL development, and reporting pipelines.
• Ensure understanding of regulatory and product requirements across systems.
• Plan and monitor tasks for the team for upcoming sprints and releases in Agile.
• Provide design review, code review, troubleshooting and guidance.
• Own the quality and timely delivery of assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including legal, product and management.
• Define and follow best practices for design, reviews, testing and documentation.
