DFDS seeks a Regional Finance Director to lead financial controlling, credit management and local accounting across the region. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, regional reporting and ensure strong governance with IFRS compliance.

You will manage multi-country finance teams, drive process improvements, and partner with global and local finance groups to support sound business decisions. Fluent English required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, accounting, or related field.
• 10+ years in finance, controlling, accounting or related field.
• Proven leadership in multinational/regional finance.
• Strong experience in controlling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and audit.
• Solid knowledge of accounting, statutory reporting, credit management and working capital.
• Experience leading finance teams across countries/regions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership and stakeholder skills.
• Able to collaborate with global and local finance teams.
• Fluent English.
• Experience with finance transformation, digitalization and automation is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Lead regional financial controlling, credit management and local accounting across the region.
• Monitor regional financial performance, including revenue and costs.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and business planning processes.
• Ensure timely financial reporting in line with IFRS and group requirements.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Oversee credit management, exposure, overdue receivables and cash collection.
• Monitor DSO and drive working capital improvements.
• Manage local accounting, statutory reporting and month/year-end closings.
• Align local accounting with group requirements.
• Drive standardization and automation of finance processes regionally.
• Implement global finance initiatives locally.
• Build and develop regional finance teams.
• Provide financial insights to support business decisions.
