Job summary

TEI - TUSAŞ Motor Sanayii A.Ş. invites a results-oriented Procurement/Sourcing specialist to join its global sourcing team in Turkey. You will develop and manage sourcing strategies for TEI’s indigenous R&D projects, coordinating across R&D, Program Management, Planning, Quality and Accounting.

You will lead supplier negotiations, monitor lead times, evaluate supplier performance, and mitigate risks while maintaining compliance and driving cost efficiencies in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Aerospace or Mechatronics engineering.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of SAP SD and MM modules preferred.
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Form and manage a sourcing strategy for TEI’s indigenous projects (raw materials, test systems, tools, equipment).
• Coordinate sourcing projects with R&D, Program Management, Planning, Quality and Accounting.
• Ensure efficient procurement execution, negotiate supplier terms, manage lead times and payments.
• Improve partnerships with current suppliers and explore new local/international options.
• Periodically evaluate suppliers on-time delivery and quality; report status to management.
• Monitor supply chain risks and prepare regular project status reports.

What Do We Expect From You?

• University degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Aerospace, Mechatronics Engineering Departments,
• Fluency in spoken and written English,
• Knowledge on SAP, knowledge on SD and MM Modules are preferable,
• Very good command of MS Office(especially excel advanced level),
• Supply Chain and project management knowledge – experience is preferable,
• Have analytical thinking competency, ability to closely follow up topics against deadlines,
• Comfortable with 'multi-tasking' and essential to be an organized person
• Able to work in a multinational environment with suppliers from different countries,
• Stress-tolerance & ability to work under time pressure,
• Excellent communication, negotiation, problem solving and teamwork skills,
• No travel restrictions (national & international),

• Form and manage a sourcing strategy of procuring products and services of TEI’s indigenous R&D projects such as raw materials, test systems – tools, investment equipment,
• Manage sourcing projects according to project requirements and ensure the coordination of internal departments such as Reserach & Development, Program Management, Planning, Quality and Accounting,
• Ensure effective and efficient execution of procurement activities, coordinates activities involved with Negotiate with supplier quotations to obtain favorable prices, terms and conditions of payment and service levels, manage lead times,
• Improving partnership with current suppliers,
• Searches alternative local and international suppliers and materials, executing supplier relations and organising business relations,
• Periodically evaluate suppliers in terms of on-time delivery, quality, lead time and make appropriate recommendations to management,
• Monitor, identify and mitigate supply chain risks,
• Preparing reports, presentations regularly in regards to status of projects,
• Following up global aerospace market, new trends, market conditions and regulations.
