Job summary

Skydagger in Istanbul is seeking a Project Engineer to support the successful execution of projects within scope, schedule, and budget. You will monitor progress, prepare reports, support risk management activities, and ensure effective coordination among subcontractors, technical teams, and stakeholders.

The role requires PMI knowledge, strong English skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment. Travel is unrestricted, and relocation to Istanbul is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD preferred.
• Knowledge of project management and R&D processes.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of PMI methodologies (scope, schedule, cost, and resource management).
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience with MS Project, Jira or similar platforms preferred.
• Good command of English; strong analytical thinking, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and demanding work environment.
• No restrictions on travel.
• Currently residing in Istanbul or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers in planning project scope, schedules, and budgets.
• Monitor project activities and track project execution progress.
• Take an active role in cost, resource, and schedule management processes.
• Identify project risks, deviations, and improvement opportunities, and contribute to corrective action plans.
• Prepare project progress reports and share updates with relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate communication between subcontractors, technical teams, and project stakeholders.
• Utilize project management tools such as MS Project and Jira for tracking and reporting activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide proactive solutions.
