Job summary

Arçelik-LG is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to join its Quality Systems & Planning Department in Gebze. You will maintain and improve the company's management system certifications (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001, and ISO/IEC 27001) and drive internal audits and process improvements.

You will collaborate across functions to ensure compliance, support supplier qualification, and contribute to cost of quality initiatives while traveling as needed in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• ISO 9001 knowledge and experience in managing multiple ISO standards (14001, 45001, 50001, ISO/IEC 27001).
• Experience conducting internal audits and holding an Internal Auditor Certification.
• Excellent written and spoken English; strong planning, organizational, coordination, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain the company's management system certifications (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001, ISO/IEC 27001).
• Plan, conduct, and report internal audits across management systems, LG standards, and procedures.
• Manage documentation, nonconformities, and corrective actions via QDMS.
• Coordinate COPQ reporting and improvement initiatives.
• Support supplier onboarding and qualification through documentation reviews, compliance assessments and audits.
• Consolidate and report supplier quality performance indicators to support supplier evaluation and improvement.
• Plan and coordinate supplier process audits, including execution and follow-up.
• Prepare periodic quality review meeting materials and performance reports.
• Support departmental budget planning, monitoring, and reporting.
• Collaborate to standardize quality processes and develop new ones.
• Produce quality KPIs and dashboards for data-driven decisions.
• Oversee calibration processes of internal measuring/testing equipment to ensure compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across departments.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably from a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in quality management systems, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinate and maintain the company's management system certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and ISO/IEC 27001, ensuring ongoing compliance with applicable standards.
• Plan, conduct, and report internal audits covering management systems, LG standards, and relevant company procedures.
• Manage management system documentation, nonconformities, and corrective actions through the QDMS (Quality Document Management System) platform.
• Coordinate the reporting, analysis, and improvement initiatives related to the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
• Support supplier onboarding and qualification processes through documentation reviews, compliance assessments, and audits.
• Consolidate, analyze, and report supplier quality performance indicators to support supplier evaluation and improvement activities.
• Plan and coordinate supplier process audits, supporting audit execution and follow-up activities.
• Coordinate the preparation of periodic quality review meetings, including performance reports, key findings, and improvement actions.
• Support departmental budget planning, monitoring, and reporting activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize quality processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support the development of new processes.
• Consolidate and prepare quality performance reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven decision-making.
• Manage and monitor the calibration processes of internal measuring and testing equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by working closely with relevant departments to enhance process effectiveness, operational excellence, and overall quality performance.
