Job summary

Arçelik-LG Klima San. ve Tic. A.Ş is seeking a Product & Design Quality Assurance Engineer to lead QA activities in design validation, testing, and process control.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, documentation, and driving improvements across products. The ideal candidate has a mechanical/electrical/mechatronics background, strong English, and experience in quality systems within a multicultural organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in quality assurance, design validation, testing and verification.
• English proficiency required (written and spoken).
• Strong teamwork in a multicultural environment and ability to report clearly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure assembly and in-house quality controls follow process quality control plans.
• Create/update quality control plans and instructions per regulations and standards.
• Report trial and mass production defects and analyze root causes.
• Support solutions for trial and mass production problems.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions from field issues and audits.
• Drive continual improvement through audit-driven actions.
• Conduct tests for existing or new products related to design issues.
• Plan, execute, and report design verification/validation to meet requirements and customer expectations.
• Represent the Quality department in audits and in Total Quality Management projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical-Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering
• Preferably at least 3 years of experience in quality assurance, design validation, test and verification activities.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Team work ability in a multicultural organization, with peers and management
• Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, reporting and organizational skills

What do we expect from you?

• To ensure that the assembly and in-house quality controls are carried out according to the process quality control plans
• Creating and updating outgoing, process and design quality control plans and instructions according to regulations and standards
• Reporting trial and serial production defects
• To analyze and support the solution of trial and mass production problems
• Implementing corrective and preventive actions related to field errors, evaluating and following up the actions
• Implementing improvement activities as a result of the audits received, carrying out continuous improvement activities
• Conducting tests of existing or new products related with design issues
• Planning, executing and reporting design verification and validation activities to ensure that new and existing products meet design requirements and customer expectations
• Management of compliance and safety issues,
• Representing the Quality department in audits
• Representing Total Quality Management in projects
• Taking part in the digitalization of quality control processes
