Job summary

Siemens Mobility is recruiting for a Quality Operations Support role in Turkey with site-based work in Oman. Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are welcome.

You will assist engineers on installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning for railway projects, and help prepare technical documentation and site records. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and fluent written/spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning activities across assigned railway project activities.
• Support site surveys, inspections, measurements, and technical assessments as required.
• Assist with troubleshooting activities and support the identification and resolution of technical issues under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Support the preparation, review, and maintenance of technical documentation, installation records, inspection reports, and project documentation.
• Read and interpret basic engineering drawings, technical specifications, and installation procedures.
• Follow approved project procedures, HSE requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards during all site activities.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, technicians, and other project teams to complete assigned activities effectively and on schedule.
• Participate in site meetings, technical discussions, and project activities to gain practical knowledge of railway engineering and project execution.
• Apply engineering principles and develop practical knowledge of railway signalling and infrastructure systems under the guidance of senior engineers.

What Do I Need to Qualify for This Job?

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of professional experience are welcome to apply.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical and practical engineering skills.
• Basic knowledge of engineering drawings, technical documentation, and engineering principles.
• Good communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive approach with the ability to work effectively under the guidance of senior engineers and supervisors.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with project procedures.
• Ability and willingness to work on project sites and participate in installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Preferably based in or willing to relocate to Sohar or Al Buraimi, Oman.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
