Job summary

Mubea Aviation is seeking a seasoned Quality Manager to lead all quality activities across its two aerospace manufacturing plants in the European Free Zone, Ergene Tekirdağ. You will ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer requirements while driving continuous improvement and supplier quality.

The role requires strong leadership, audits, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of quality management experience within aerospace, aviation, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries.
• Proven experience in leading and developing quality teams.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001 and aerospace quality requirements.
• Solid understanding of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA and statistical quality tools.
• Experience managing customer audits and certification audits.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the site's QMS in accordance with AS9100 and customer-specific requirements.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations, customer standards, and internal quality procedures.
• Lead and coordinate customer, regulatory, and certification audits.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality issues.
• Monitor and improve quality performance indicators including complaints, scrap and cost of poor quality.
• Support new product introduction and process qualification activities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and PM teams to achieve quality objectives.
• Manage and improve end-to-end quality processes across two plants in the European Free Zone.

We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Quality Manager to lead all quality-related activities across our aerospace manufacturing operations. This position offers the opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring compliance with aerospace regulations, customer requirements, and Mubea' s commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the site's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with AS9100 and customer-specific requirements.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations, customer standards, and internal quality procedures.
• Lead and coordinate customer, regulatory, and certification audits.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective action processes using structured problem-solving methodologies to ensure effective and sustainable resolution of quality issues.
• Monitor and improve quality performance indicators, including customer complaints, scrap, rework, and cost of poor quality.
• Support new product introduction and process qualification activities.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams to achieve quality objectives.
• Manage, coach and continuously improve the end-to-end quality processes of our two manufacturing plants located in the European Free Zone, ensuring the highest standards of product quality, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
• Act as the primary quality representative for customers, certification bodies, and internal stakeholders.

Core Competencies

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, Materials Engineering or related disciplines).
• Minimum 8 years of quality management experience within aerospace, aviation, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries.
• Proven experience in leading and developing quality teams.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001 and aerospace quality requirements.
• Solid understanding of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA and statistical quality tools.
• Experience managing customer audits and certification audits.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment.
• Professional certifications such as Lead Auditor or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, along with experience in quality transformation initiatives and composite manufacturing processes, are considered strong assets.
