Job summary

Mubea Türkiye is seeking a Project Launch Engineer in Ergene to coordinate customer and internal activities from planning to serial production, ensuring delivery against schedule, cost, quality and performance targets.

The role requires a technical education and experience in aviation project management, FMEA, PPAP/VDA, and cross-functional coordination. Strong English, ERP knowledge, and CATIA V5 are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering or similar field.
• Experience in project and/or process management, preferably in aviation.
• Knowledge of FMEA methodologies (D-FMEA, P-FMEA).
• Experience with PPAP and VDA processes.
• Cross-functional coordination and customer requirements management.
• Understanding of composite materials and related manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong English, both written and spoken.
• MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• ERP systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead customer alignment meetings with documentation and follow-up.

• Manage composite component development through industrialization to serial production.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, timelines, and budgets.
• Track project progress and KPIs; initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare project documentation, presentations, and management reports.
• Support D-FMEA and P-FMEA with a focus on composites.
• Plan sampling and approvals per PPAP, VDA, and customer requirements.
• Support implementation of customer requirements and engineering changes.

We are looking for a dynamic, structured, and results-oriented Project Launch Engineer to join our team in Ergene and support the successful launch and execution of customer projects, ensuring seamless coordination from project planning through to serial production.

About the Role

As a Project Launch Engineer, you will coordinate customer and internal project activities from planning through implementation. You will act as a key interface between customers and internal functions, ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed targets for schedule, cost, quality, and performance.

What You'll Do:

• Coordinate and lead customer alignment meetings, including meeting documentation, work package definition, and action follow-up,
• Coordinate activities with customers and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution,
• Coordinate project activities related to composite component development and manufacturing, from industrialization through serial production,
• Develop and monitor project schedules, timelines, and budgets,
• Track project progress and KPIs and initiate corrective actions when required,
• Prepare project documentation, presentations, status reports, and management reports,
• Support the preparation and maintenance of D-FMEA and P-FMEA with a focus on composite component design and manufacturing processes,,
• Plan and coordinate sampling and approval processes in accordance with PPAP, VDA, and customer‑specific requirements,
• Support the implementation of customer requirements and management of engineering changes.

What We're Looking For:

• Technical or commercial education or a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field,
• Professional experience in project and/or process management, preferably in the aviation industry,
• Knowledge of FMEA methodologies, including D-FMEA and P-FMEA,
• Knowledge of production part approval processes such as PPAP and VDA,
• Experience in cross‑functional project coordination and customer requirements management,
• Understanding of composite materials, composite component manufacturing, and related production processes,
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills,
• Very good MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint,
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken,
• Knowledge of ERP systems,
• Knowledge of OEM production processes and serial aircraft manufacturing is desirable,
• CAD knowledge, preferably CATIA V5, is an advantage.
