Job summary

Yazaki in Gemlik, Bursa invites an Industrial Engineer to help design and continuously improve production processes, layouts, and systems. You will engage in FMEA, time studies, line balancing, and SOP documentation.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, at least 2 years in manufacturing or process engineering, and proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Excel. Bursa residents or those willing to relocate are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Hands-on involvement in FMEA studies is a strong advantage.
• Experience with production line setup and process improvement.
• Knowledge of time studies, work measurement, line balancing, and capacity planning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D layout drawings preferred.
• Advanced MS Excel skills; macro knowledge preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Visual Basic (VBA) is an asset.
• Familiarity with SAP MM processes is an advantage.
• Fluent English and Turkish communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Candidates residing in Bursa or willing to relocate to Bursa are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in Process FMEA activities, risk assessments, and preventive action planning.
• Conduct internal defect analyses, root cause investigations, and monitor improvements actions.
• Plan, design, and continuously improve production processes and manufacturing systems.
• Create workflow diagrams and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Establish and optimize production line layouts and support new line installation projects.
• Prepare 2D production layout drawings using AutoCAD.
• Perform time studies, method analyses, workload analyses, and line balancing activities.
• Support production preparation and industrialization activities for new projects and models.
• Coordinate and supervise method operators to ensure effective execution of process improvements.
• Monitor production KPIs, prepare reports, and present analysis results to management.
• Drive continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and productivity enhancement projects.
• Support requirements planning and process standardization activities.
• Ensuring effective follow-up of actions, corrective actions, and project milestones.
• Contribute to factory-wide process development and operational excellence initiatives.
• Supporting SAP MM-related process activities, where applicable.
• Participating in domestic and international business trips when required.

What will your job be about?
