Job summary

Alshaya Group Avrasya is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join the Supply Chain & Procurement department in Turkey. The role focuses on local quality and food safety audits, ensuring compliance with global and local standards, and coordinating with 3rd party audits.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, at least 3 years in the food industry, strong English skills, and proven QA auditing experience. Travel flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering.
• Min 3 years experience in food industry – operational/retail QA experience is preferred.
• Understanding of food manufacturing including Food GMPs, SOPs, HACCP/Food Safety, auditing and inspections.
• Experience in Quality Management Systems will be an asset.
• High knowledge of Global and Local Food Safety Legislation, Quality Management Systems and inspections.
• Ability to multitask, be detail oriented and to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to influence others.
• Proactive, achievement oriented and problem solver.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Inter-personel skills, communication, persuasiveness, assertiveness and negotiation through the organization.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Military obligation completed for male candidates.
• No restrictions to travel.

Responsibilities

• Conducting local quality and food safety audits.
• Ensure global standarts and local quality management policies for stores.
• Coordinating with 3rd party audits.
• Preparing periodical management reports to highlight strengths & opportunities.
• Following legal audits and new regulations to update operation & support teams.
• Conducting pest control management.
• Managing food analysis.
