Job summary

GİZLİ is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA operations in a multinational setting in Turkey. The role focuses on controlling materials and products, auditing suppliers, and sustaining Quality Management Systems across packaging and raw materials.

The successful candidate will have 10+ years in Quality and Regulatory within pharma, supplements, or FMCG, with strong English and GMP/Audit knowledge, and be capable of coordinating cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in Quality and Regulatory in pharma, supplements or FMCG.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SOPs and auditing.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure control of materials and products per legal requirements and determine inspection/test methods.
• Evaluate and approve new packaging and raw material suppliers per standards and food safety.
• Manage QA processes and risk assessments for suppliers.
• Oversee establishment and sustainability of Quality Management Systems.
• Manage QA department budget in line with plant quality needs.
• Ensure effective communication between Management and Production to streamline processes.
• Plan and coordinate improvement projects related to Product, Process and Quality Systems.

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our leading production company in the sector.

Responsibilities

• To ensure the control of materials and products within the scope of legal requirement, to determine inspection, test and test methods
• To evaluate and approve new Packaging and Raw Material suppliers in line with company’s standards and food safety requirements
• To manage and improve quality assurance processes and risk assessments related to Packaging and Raw Material suppliers
• Responsible for the establishment, management and sustainability of Quality Management Systems
• To manage and monitor the Quality Assurance Department budget, to identify and budget in line with the needs of the plant on the basis of the quality criteria
• Acting with the awareness that Quality Assurance processes are a part of the Quality Management System, ensuring an effective communication between Management and Production Team, ensuring that processes are carried out quickly and effectively
• Planning and coordinating all improvement and correction projects related to Product, Process and Quality Systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related departments
• 10+ years experience in Quality and Regulatory field within a multinational pharma, supplements or FMCG environment
• Understanding of food manufacturing including Food GMPs, SOPs, HACCP/Food Safety, auditing and inspections
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of Management
• Preferably having GMP, ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 internal audit certificates
• Result-oriented, having analytical thinking, giving importance to teamwork and strong communication
• Ability to multitask, be detail oriented
