Job summary

Banvit MBRF is seeking a QA Laboratory Lead to oversee daily QA lab activities, guide analysts, and drive continuous improvement in analytical methods and tooling. The role emphasizes quality systems, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with Production.

The ideal candidate has a Veterinary Medicine degree and at least 3 years in a laboratory setting, with leadership experience and willingness to relocate to Elazığ, Turkey.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in laboratory environment with coordination or leadership
• Knowledge of ISO standards, accreditation and regulatory compliance
• Experience in QA/QC, lab methods, troubleshooting and documentation

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of the QA Laboratory team
• Provide technical guidance to analysts and technicians, including coaching
• Monitor lab KPIs and drive improvement opportunities
• Coordinate investigations of deviations, root cause analysis, and CAPA
• Support development and validation of analytical methods and lab technologies

• Support audits and maintain lab readiness for inspections

What will you be doing at Banvit MBRF?

• Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the QA Laboratory team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of analyses
• Provide technical guidance to laboratory analysts and technicians, including coaching and training on testing methods and laboratory practices
• Monitor laboratory performance and KPIs, identify improvement opportunities and support development plans for the team
• Coordinate investigations related to deviations, out-of-specification results and non-conformities; lead root cause analysis and CAPA processes
• Support the development, validation and implementation of analytical methods and laboratory technologies
• Ensure compliance with quality systems, food safety standards, ISO requirements, procedures and regulatory requirements
• Support internal and external audits and ensure laboratory readiness for inspections
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency, quality and turnaround times
• Coordinate with Production and other relevant functions and provide technical support to affiliated laboratories when needed

What kind of profile are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience, including experience in laboratory coordination, technical leadership or quality systems
• Knowledge of laboratory operations, analytical methods and troubleshooting techniques
• Knowledge of ISO standards, accreditation requirements, quality systems and regulatory compliance
• Good command of MS Office
• Intermediate level of English
• Willingness to travel when required
• Living in Elazig or willing to relocate to Elazig
