Job summary

IOM - UN Migration in Turkey seeks a Senior Project Associate – Protection to coordinate labour mobility activities, monitor implementation, and provide case management support in pilot provinces, with field travel as required.

Under supervision, you will work with the LMI Unit to strengthen referrals, manage budgets, deliver training, and engage with authorities, UN agencies, and partners to ensure protection and socio-economic integration of beneficiaries.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or a high school diploma with extensive experience.
• Experience working with governments, UN agencies and NGOs, and in project implementation and case management.
• Fluency in English and Turkish; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day project implementation, monitoring activities against work plans and donor requirements.
• Coordinate protection-sensitive relocation assistance, including case management, referrals and individualised support.
• Monitor budgets and ensure compliance with IOM financial rules and donor requirements.
• Collaborate with LMI Unit and other units to expand access to employment opportunities and socio-economic integration.
• Oversee financial, administrative and operational management of the project per IOM policies.
• Plan and conduct capacity-building trainings and workshops for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain coordination with local authorities, UN agencies, donors and other stakeholders for consistent delivery.
• Prepare and submit project reports, donor updates, and related documents on time.
• Identify good practices and contribute to SOPs and guidance materials to improve programme quality.
• Supervise staff, provide mentorship and ensure performance and quality assurance.
