Job summary

UNHCR Türkiye seeks a Protection Associate to support the Protection Unit in case processing, protection monitoring and data analysis. You will coordinate with field units, partners and public institutions to ensure quality protection responses and timely referrals, including child protection and GBV interventions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong drafting and analytical skills, and fluency in Turkish and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Law, Political Science, International Relations, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Strong drafting and analytical skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Turkish and fluency in English.
• Ability to work in a team and collaboratively with partners.

Responsibilities

• Support Protection Unit in core protection functions, including case interventions and monitoring.
• Contribute to data analysis, reporting, and guidance drafting for internal use and partners.
• Coordinate with field units, public institutions and partners on case processing and referrals.
• Support child protection, GBV prevention and protection interventions.
• Ensure compliance with protection standards and improve case processing mechanisms.
