Job summary

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) Türkiye seeks a Senior Project Associate for Protection in Gaziantep to coordinate, monitor, and support labour mobility activities, including case management and stakeholder engagement. The role reports to the Senior Protection Coordinator and may require field travel to pilot provinces.

Qualifications

• Experience liaising with governmental and international organizations.
• Experience in case management, referrals and direct assistance.
• Experience supervising teams and working with vulnerable groups such as migrants and refugees.
• Experience in labour mobility or socio-economic integration programs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily project implementation, monitoring against work plans and donor requirements.
• Analyze implementation challenges and recommend adjustments.
• Coordinate protection-sensitive relocation assistance including case management, counseling, and referrals.
• Monitor budget expenditures for compliance with financial rules and donor requirements.
• Collaborate with LMI Unit and other units to strengthen referral pathways and service delivery.
• Oversee financial, administrative, and operational management of the project.
• Plan and conduct capacity-building training for internal and external parties.
• Maintain coordination with local authorities, UN agencies, NGOs, and stakeholders.
• Prepare project reports, donor updates, and other documentation.
• Document and disseminate best practices and lessons learned.
• Supervise, mentor, and train reporting staff.
