Job summary

dormakaba International Holding AG is hiring an English-speaking Project Execution & Technical Support Engineer for on-site delivery. You will implement, commission, and support access control, automatic doors, turnstiles, and hotel locking solutions, coordinating with customers, partners, and internal teams.

You’ll perform installations, troubleshoot complex issues, assist in pre-sales, and train users. A relevant engineering degree and strong English are required, with willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience with software installation, commissioning and technical support incl. Windows OS and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of Access Control, Automatic Doors, Turnstiles or CAD software is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; customer-oriented and independent.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site and remote installation, commissioning, testing, and firmware/software updates.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and database issues; document support cases and escalate as needed.
• Act as technical liaison between customers, partners, and internal teams (Sales, PM, Logistics, Global Technical Support).
• Support Pre-Sales in quotations and tenders, and contribute to solution design and implementation planning.
• Deliver training to end users and partners.
• Prepare and maintain installation guides, commissioning reports, technical specifications, and handover documents.

A job that matters: Your Tasks

You implement, commission, and support dormakaba Access Control, Automatic Doors, Turnstiles, and Hotel Locking solutions, working closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

• Perform on-site and remote installation, configuration, commissioning, testing, and firmware/software updates.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and database issues; document support cases and elevate complex ones to Global Technical Support.
• Act as technical liaison between customers, partners, and internal teams (Sales, PM, Logistics, Procurement, Global Technical Support).
• Support Pre-Sales in quotations and tenders, and contribute to solution design and implementation planning.
• Deliver training to end users and partners.
• Prepare and maintain installation guides, commissioning reports, technical specifications, and handover documents.

An experience that matters: Your Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in software installation, commissioning, and technical support, including Windows/Windows Server, SQL Server, and TCP/IP networking.
• Knowledge of Access Control, Automatic Doors, Turnstiles, Hotel Locking Systems, or CAD software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; customer-oriented and able to work independently and cross-functionally.
• Well-organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Good command of English; Russian or Arabic is a strong advantage.
