Job summary

Yazaki Europe Middle East and Africa in Turkey is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Akyazı plant. You will manage cross-functional projects from initiation to launch and ensure adherence to scope, cost, and schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 2+ years in manufacturing, and strong Turkish and English communication. APQP/PPAP knowledge is a plus, with a focus on process improvements and close collaboration with production teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar manufacturing position.
Excellent Turkish and English written and verbal communication.
Knowledge of Project Management methodologies is a strong plus.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

Create, distribute, and monitor Detailed Activity Plans across all project phases.
Coordinate all production preparation activities with the project team and cross-functional departments.
Serve as the primary contact for external departments and ensure seamless information flow within the plant.
Prepare, update, and manage customer-specific documentation and forms.
Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, or IATF 16949 is an asset.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and present regular project progress reports.
