Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Istanbul, Turkey, seeks a Production Engineering Specialist to optimize manufacturing processes at the Dudullu-DT transformer factory. You will analyze production data, develop SOPs, and collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain and Engineering to improve safety, quality and efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering, 2+ years in production, proficiency in SAP and MS Office, and Turkish and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electrical engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years of production/factory experience.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
• AutoCAD is a plus.
• Fluency in Turkish and English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data and identify opportunities for safety, quality, productivity and efficiency improvements.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, work instructions, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering to resolve operational challenges.
• Monitor equipment performance and work with maintenance teams to improve machine reliability and OEE.
• Participate in PFMEA, control plans, risk assessments, and process audits.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and track project savings.
• Train operators and production personnel on new processes and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external & internal regulations, procedures & guidelines.
