Job summary

Tolsa is seeking a Production Engineer & Monitoring Mining Engineer in Turkey to oversee mining operations, ensure safety and efficiency, and coordinate production activities. You will manage blue-collar teams and collaborate with maintenance, quality, and management to meet targets.

The role requires a Mining Engineering degree (Master's preferred) and 2–5 years of relevant experience, with knowledge of Turkish mining regulations and SAP/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering (mandatory). Master’s Degree is a plus.
• 2–5 years of experience in mining, production, manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Experience supervising blue-collar employees and coordinating operational activities is preferred.
• Knowledge of Turkish mining legislation and permitting processes is a plus.

MISSION

As a Production Engineer & Monitoring Mining Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of mining operations while coordinating production activities and driving operational performance across the site.

This role combines technical mining supervision with hands-on production management. You will oversee mining activities in accordance with applicable regulations and company standards, support extraction and resource utilization, optimize production processes, ensure product quality, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, productivity, and profitability.

In addition, you will lead and coordinate blue-collar teams to ensure safe, efficient, and productive operations while fostering a positive and collaborative working environment. Working closely with production, maintenance, quality, and management teams, you will play a key role in achieving operational targets and supporting the sustainable growth of the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Mining Operations & Monitoring

• Fulfill Monitoring Mining Engineer (Daimi Nezaretçi) responsibilities in line with applicable regulations and company standards.
• Ensure mining activities are conducted safely and in compliance with applicable environmental, regulatory, and operational standards.
• Support mine planning, extraction, production monitoring, and resource utilization.
• Coordinate geological, topographical, and quality-related mining activities.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor operational performance.
• Collect and evaluate samples for quality control and process optimization.
• Maintain accurate mining records, reports, and regulatory documentation.
• Support raw material sourcing and mine development initiatives.
• Respond to operational incidents and emergencies affecting safety or production.

Production Operations & Team Management

• Coordinate daily production activities to ensure operational continuity, efficiency, quality, and safety targets are achieved.
• Lead, supervise, and support blue-collar employees and operators in daily operations.
• Monitor production performance, productivity, quality, and operational KPIs.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and raw materials.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.
• Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives related to production, safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor stock levels, raw material consumption, and production reporting activities.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and operational requirements.
• Prepare and communicate regular operational and production reports to management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering (mandatory).
• Master's Degree is a plus.

C

• 2-5 years of experience in mining, production, manufacturing, or industrial operations.
• Experience supervising blue-collar employees and coordinating operational activities is preferred.
• Experience in mineral processing, mining, quarry, or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Turkish mining legislation and permitting processes is a plus.
