Job summary

Webasto Group is seeking a Production Engineer for our Operations Department in Manisa, Turkey. You will contribute from early stages of product development, build production equipment, standardize processes, and ensure smooth introduction of new products with quality and cost targets.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, strong lean production knowledge, English proficiency, and experience with MS Office, SAP, and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years in manufacturing; familiar with electrical/leak testing and manual small series assembly.
• Knowledge of problem solving and process quality techniques (P-FMEA).
• Ability to plan and coordinate activities.
• Good English skills.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, SAP, and ERP/CRM programs.
• SAP key-user experience preferred and ability to train other users.
• Proactive, dynamic team player with excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Analytical, creative, and strategic mindset with good follow-up.
• Customer-oriented and able to take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Participation from the earliest stages of creation, in the development teams of new company products.
• Development of equipment necessary for internal production processes in accordance with Lean Production principles.
• Standardization of internal production processes.
• Supervising the introduction of new products into production, guaranteeing quality, target costs, safety and initial training for new staff.
• Efficiency of company production processes.
• In alignment with global business strategy, implementation/developing of new processes.
