Job summary

Webasto Group is seeking a Systems Engineer Development to join the Engineering Department in Izmir/Manisa. You will analyze customer requirements, translate them into system specifications, and develop the complete HVAC system architecture from concept through validation.

The role requires 3+ years in HVAC development, knowledge of thermodynamics and DoE/CAEs, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional activities across design, validation, and manufacturing. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in HVAC system development.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and HVAC design.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and translate into system specifications.
• Develop HVAC concepts and define the system architecture.
• Perform HVAC calculations, sizing, and component selection.
• Coordinate cross-functional development with design, validation, and manufacturing.
• Support laboratory, vehicle, and field validation activities.
• Lead engineering change activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Travel for customer support, prototype builds, and validation.
• Support supplier selection and evaluation for HVAC components.
