Job summary

Borusan Holding in Bursa/Gemlik is seeking a Production Engineer to coordinate production processes, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and 1–3 years in manufacturing, with strong English skills and experience in Lean/Six Sigma projects.

You will drive KPI targets, perform root-cause analyses, and collaborate with operations and quality teams to ensure safety and efficiency across production lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing industries.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma projects.
• Experience in management of CAPEX projects.
• Analytical thinking with detail planning.
• Able to work with operations staff and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate manufacturing processes and maintenance to meet quality, cost, and efficiency targets.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations and support safety culture.
• Solve complex production problems using root cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor and manage KPI targets.
• Collect and analyze downtime data (TPM and OEE) to improve processes.
• Develop clear production and maintenance procedures and train operators.
• Lead continuous improvement projects for processes and equipment.
• Report to management with documented phase-wise production updates.
• R&D actions for product and process development.
• Coordinate actions with quality departments
