Job summary

Nebil Proje is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our Maslak, Istanbul team and manage procurement activities for our ongoing MEP contracting projects. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at least 3 years of procurement experience in construction, and strong knowledge of MEP materials, suppliers, and price negotiations.

This full-time role collaborates with project managers, engineering, site teams, and accounting to ensure on-time, on-budget

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a related field.
• 3+ years procurement experience in construction, preferably MEP.
• Knowledge of MEP materials, equipment, and specs.
• Familiarity with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
• Experience in supplier sourcing, quotation analysis, and negotiations.
• Ability to evaluate technical and commercial proposals.
• Understanding of procurement budgets, cost control, and reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple activities.
• Ability to work with project management, engineering, and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement for materials, equipment, and services for MEP projects.
• Review purchase requests against specs, budgets, and schedules.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Obtain and compare technical and commercial quotations.
• Conduct price negotiations and ensure competitive purchasing conditions.
• Monitor budgets and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate purchase orders, supplier agreements, and procurement docs.
• Follow up on deliveries to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineering, site teams, and accounting.
• Prepare procurement reports and maintain purchasing records.

• Familiarity with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors operating in the construction and MEP sectors.
• Proven experience in supplier sourcing, quotation analysis, price negotiations, and purchasing processes.
• Ability to evaluate technical and commercial proposals.
• Good understanding of procurement budgets, cost control, and reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
