Job summary

Cornerstone International Group Türkiye is seeking hands-on Procurement Managers for a global client in manufacturing. The role combines strategic sourcing with day-to-day purchasing activities to optimize costs and supplier performance.

The ideal candidates will manage supplier negotiations, tenders and sourcing strategies while actively executing procurement tasks and ensuring compliance with audit requirements. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong tender management and negotiation skills.
• Experience with strategic sourcing and supplier development.
• Hands-on use of SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, RFQs, tendering, negotiations and purchase order execution.
• Conduct competitive tenders in line with local and global procurement policies and audit requirements.
• Drive cost optimization, supplier development and commercial negotiations.
• Perform hands-on procurement activities using SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Develop supplier networks and identify alternative sourcing opportunities.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, finance and other stakeholders.

As Cornerstone International Group Türkiye, we are looking for hands-on Procurement Managers (Direct / Indirect) for one of our global clients operating in the manufacturing industry.

We are seeking procurement professionals who can effectively combine strategic sourcing expertise with hands-on operational execution.

The ideal candidates will be comfortable managing supplier negotiations, tenders and sourcing strategies while remaining actively involved in day-to-day purchasing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, RFQs, tendering, negotiations and purchase order execution.
• Conduct competitive tenders in compliance with local and global procurement policies and audit requirements.
• Drive cost optimization, supplier development and commercial negotiations.
• Perform hands-on procurement activities using SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Develop supplier networks and identify alternative sourcing opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing, operations, finance and other internal stakeholders.

Direct Procurement

• Experience in raw material and production-related purchasing.
• Strong supplier negotiation and sourcing capabilities.
• Experience in chemical procurement is an advantage, but not mandatory.

Indirect Procurement

Experience in categories such as:

• Facility management and outsourced services
• Catering and employee transportation
• Vehicle leasing and insurance
• Maintenance, machinery and equipment procurement

What We Are Looking For

• Proven procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong tender management, strategic sourcing and negotiation skills.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Experience working within structured procurement and audit frameworks.
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management.
• Ability to learn quickly, take initiative and independently develop expertise in unfamiliar categories.
• Good command of English.
• A genuinely hands-on mindset, with the willingness to take ownership of both strategic and operational purchasing activities.
