Job summary

Carbomax in Turkey (Ceyhan) is seeking a production operator to support safe, efficient manufacturing in the activated carbon facility. This role involves hands-on supervision of daily production tasks and ensuring adherence to safety standards.

You will perform routine checks, assist shift handovers, and help meet quality and safety standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Willingness to relocate to Ceyhan is advantageous, with prior chemical industry experience

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Petrochemicals, or related fields.
• Experience in the chemical industry is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness and ability to work in a three-shift system.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems is preferred.
• Valid Class B driver’s license and active driving experience.
• Forklift Operator Certificate is preferred.
• Residing in or willing to relocate to Ceyhan, Adana.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that production activities are carried out in compliance with occupational health and safety rules and company procedures.
• Support the production of products in accordance with quality standards and production plans.
• Ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations by providing the necessary information during shift handovers.
• Support initiatives aimed at improving efficiency across production processes.
• Identify and respond to operational issues during production and coordinate with relevant departments when necessary.
• Perform routine checks of machinery, equipment, and utility systems.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient production environment.
• Monitor process performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
