Job summary

Amcor is seeking a qualified professional to lead production in our Turkish operations, ensuring output meets company standards, quality, time, and cost targets while developing a high-performing team. You will manage production area performance, drive lean initiatives, implement safety and ISO quality systems, and collaborate across departments to optimize costs and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering departments.
• Min 3 years of production and team management experience.
• Good command of Turkish & English (written and spoken).
• Good knowledge of PowerBI, Access, Excel macro programming.
• Experience in lean production methods, 5S, OHSE, ISO quality systems & manufacturing costs management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production aligns with company standards, quality, quantity, time and cost requirements.
• Responsible for area/product and team performance in quality, costs and delivery.
• Understand product specs and customer requirements.
• Plan and organize production processes per procedures and instructions.
• Identify production problems and lead root-cause solutions to meet customer needs.
• Ensure safety, food safety and environmental standards are consistently implemented.
• Support lean systems, Kaizen projects and TPM activities.

• University degree in Engineering departments
• Min 3 years of production and team management experience in industrial operations (preferebly offset printing)
• Good command of both written and spoken Turkish & English
• Good knowledge of computer skills, all office programs (PowerBI, Access, Excel macro programming)
• Experience in lean production methods, 5S organisations, OHSE principles, ISO quality systems & manufacturing costs management
• Customer focused attitude
• Dynamic, team player, good interpersonal skills
• Problem solving, analytical, communication & interpersonal skills
• Valid driving licence, no restriction for travel in and out of country

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure that the production is done according to company standards and legal requirements with required quality, quantity, time and cost.
• Responsible for the performance of the area/product and team in terms of quality, costs and delivery.
• Understand product specification and customer related requirement.
• Plan and organize production process inline with procedures & instructions.
• Identify production problems and lead to solve them to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure that occupational safety, food safety and environmental standards are implemented consistently.
• Support lean systems, kaizen projects and TPM method activities.

Within the IWS (OperationsPlus) framework:

• Prepare data for daily DDS meetings and actively participate
• Coordinate all Change over/ Center line activities on the assigned production lines,
• Perform root cause analysis
• Establish standards to eliminate losses and ensure compliance through necessary actions
• Use established standards to develop the technical knowledge and skills of operations teams
