Job summary

Amcor Izmir is seeking a Maintenance Lead for offset printing to sustain production performance on assigned lines and act as the technical expert on the shop floor. You will prioritise outages, drive autonomous maintenance, and coach operators to achieve KPIs while coordinating maintenance budgets and spare parts usage.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in mass‑production maintenance, strong Lean/5S experience, and fluency in Turkish and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related technical fields.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in mass-production factories.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI.
• Experience in lean production, 5S, OHSE, ISO quality systems & costs management.
• Fluent in Turkish and English (written and spoken).
• Dynamic, team-oriented with good interpersonal skills.
• Valid driving licence; travel in/out of the country permitted.
• Strong communication skills; preferably experience in printing or packaging maintenance.
• Support lean systems, Kaizen, and TPM activities; offset printing experience preferred.
• Experience in machinery installations.

Responsibilities

• Sustain the production performance of the assigned production lines.
• Act as the Technical Expert and Maintenance Leader for the responsible line.
• Prioritise troubleshooting, enhancing autonomous maintenance capabilities of operators.
• Aim to reduce breakdown frequency and improve uptime.
• Ensure effective communication between line and maintenance department.
• Provide coaching to shopfloor teams to achieve KPIs.
• Organise all maintenance activities for the line and manage budgets.
• Monitor spare part consumption and lead cost-optimisation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or other related technical fields

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI
• Experience in lean production methods, 5S organisations, OHSE principles, ISO quality systems & manufacturing costs management
• Fluent in both written and spoken Turkish and English
• Dynamic, team player, good interpersonal skills
• Valid driving licence, no restriction for travel in and out of country
• Strong communication skills
• Preferably, previous experience in mechanical maintenance within printing or packaging industries
• Support lean systems, kaizen projects and TPM method activities.
• Experince in offset printing machines is preferred
• Experienced in machinery installations

Job Description

• Sustain the production performance of the assigned production lines
• Act as the Technical Expert and Maintenance Leader for the responsible line
• Prioritise troubleshooting activities, followed by enhancing the mechanical (autonomous maintenance) capabilities of production operators
• Aim to reduce the frequency of breakdowns
• Ensure effective communication between the line and the maintenance department
• Provide coaching to the shopfloor team of the responsible line to achieve production KPIs
• Organise all maintenance activities for the assigned line
• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets for each machine under responsibility
• Closely monitor spare part consumption
• Lead initiatives to reduce spare parts usage and manage cost optimisation activities

Within the IWS (OperationsPlus) framework:

• Prepare data for daily DDS meetings and actively participate
• Coordinate all planned maintenance activities (MP&S) on the assigned production lines, in line with maintenance systematics
• Perform breakdown analysis
• Establish standards to eliminate losses and ensure compliance through necessary actions
• Use established standards to develop the technical knowledge and skills of operations teams
