Job summary

Amcor is seeking a highly skilled Production/Operations professional in Konak, Turkey. The role focuses on aligning production with quality, safety and efficiency targets within a global packaging leader.

You will lead production processes, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical) is required.
• Minimum 5 years of production or maintenance experience in the packaging industry.
• Good knowledge of computer skills, all office programs (Access, Excel macro programming).
• Good command of both written and spoken Turkish & English.
• Experience in lean production methods, 5S organisations, OHSE principles, ISO quality systems & manufacturing costs management.
• Demonstrated ability in strategic thinking and leadership.
• Customer focused attitude with strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production meets company standards, quality, quantity, time and cost targets.
• Be accountable for area/product and team performance (quality, costs, delivery).
• Understand and fulfil product specifications and customer requirements.
• Plan and organize production processes per procedures and instructions.
• Identify production problems and lead solutions to meet customer needs.
• Improve operational efficiency through KPIs.
• Coordinate with departments and suppliers.
• Ensure safety, food safety and environmental standards are followed.
• Support lean, Kaizen and TPM activities.

• Bachelor degree in Engineering departments, preferably Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical Egineering
• Minimum 5 years of production or maintenance experience in the packaging industry (preferebly in offset printing). Experience in WCM , TPM or IWS is preffered
• Good knowledge of computer skills, all office programs (Access, Excel macro programming)
• Good command of both written and spoken Turkish & English
• Experience in lean production methods, 5S organisations, OHSE principles, ISO quality systems & manufacturing costs management
• Demonstrated ability in strategic thinking
• Customer focused attitude

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure that the production is done according to company standards and legal requirements with required quality, quantity, time and cost
• Responsible for the performance of the area/product and team in terms of quality, costs and delivery
• Understand and fulfil product specifications and customer requirements
• Plan and organise production process inline with procedures & instructions
• Identify production problems and lead to solve them to meet customer requirements
• Achieve and continuously improve operational efficiency through assigned KPIs
• Establish effective communication and coordination with all relevant departments within the company and with suppliers
• Ensure that occupational safety, food safety and environmental standards are implemented consistently
• Support lean systems, kaizen projects and TPM method activities
