Job summary

Hayat is seeking a talented Process Engineer to join our Tissue Production team. You will contribute to transformative projects under the Consumer Group and help optimize production methods, monitor consumption, and drive energy efficiency.

This role requires a hands-on engineer with strong problem-solving skills and experience in tissue manufacturing. Based in Kocaeli, you will collaborate across departments, audit processes, and participate in new product development while leveraging AI and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in production processes, preferably tissue manufacturing.
• Fluency in English.
• Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Interested in AI and digital transformation applications in manufacturing, with the ability to use these tools for data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving.
• Residing in or willing to relocate to Kocaeli.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update departmental procedures and work instructions.
• Participate in internal process audits and serve as an internal auditor.
• Review and continuously improve production methods to enhance quality and reduce costs, collaborating with other departments.
• Participate in new product development projects.
• Monitor and analyze daily production and raw material consumption reports.
• Ensure that production meets quality specifications and coordinate the resolution of production issues.
• Ensure the effective and efficient use of resources, including labor, energy, machinery, materials, and spare parts.
• Develop and implement projects to improve energy efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience in production processes, preferably in tissue manufacturing
• Fluency in English
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Experience with SAP is preferred
• Interested in artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation applications in manufacturing, with the ability to use these tools for data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving
• Residing in or willing to relocate to Kocaeli
