Job summary

Jotun in Turkey is seeking a Senior Production Process Engineer to create and maintain optimized formulations ensuring Right First Time and stable throughput. You will update formulations per Group R&D, coach operators daily, and improve recipes to remain competitive within regional and global R&D constraints.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, 5+ years in the paint/ink/petrochemical sector, and strong English communication with native Turkish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in paint, ink, or petrochemical industry.
• Fluent English with strong verbal and written skills; native Turkish.
• Strong knowledge of industrial processes and technical proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain optimized production processes/formulations for quality and throughput.
• Update formulations as required by Group R&D.
• Coach operators on process optimization daily.
• Optimize recipes to stay competitive within regional and global R&D guidelines.
• Provide technical support and collaborate with maintenance.
• Follow-up process and quality deviations; investigate complaints.
• Document local production processes for operator training; provide training.
