Job summary

Magna Exteriors in İzmit, Turkey is seeking a Production/Process Engineer to design cost-effective manufacturing processes for new products and to develop documentation, standards, and training programs. You will ensure quality, assist with shop floor layout, and support equipment installation and validation.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, problem-solving, and ongoing performance analysis to identify efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering from reputable universities.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in plastic injection and plastic molding in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of plastic injection technology, failure modes, and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of production organization and improvement tools is a plus (5S, SMED, Lean, etc.).
• Strong technical knowledge of machinery and equipment.
• Good command of verbal and written English.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel domestically and abroad.
